He wakes up at 5am, grabs his new Hotwheels cars grandma brought yesterday (she is here for a visit), and goes upstairs to visit her in bed, ready to play and start the day.
5am, people. 5am. It was still dark! He was marched back to bed (by me) and told to stay there until 6:30.
Do you think he went back to sleep?

This is Grandma writing from Amelia's computer so her name is on the header. Grandma didn't mind getting hugs at 5:00 a.m. Believe me! I will take a hug over sleep any time of day or night or morning! Amelia made the right decision because Ewan would have been way too tired the rest of the day by getting up so early. One of the better things about being a grandparent is that you leave the discipline up to Mom and Dad. Just glad it wasn't me that had to do the discipline and send him back to bed. I don't think I could have done it because he was so excited and so was I. It has been wonderful to play with all three boys. I enjoy each moment we are together.
