Arrrgghhh!

Does anyone else get totally irritated when your sheets get all twisted in the dryer and you have to pull out EVERYTHING else that is dry, untwist the sheets, pull out any hidden shirt, pants, socks etc. that got tangled up in the twisted sheet mess, and then re-dry the sheets?

Or am I the only person this happens to?

It ruins my laundry mojo. Argh!

that used to happen to me all the time back in the days when i had a dryer. i've been wishing for one this week, as it has been 24/7 rain for a full 10 days and nothing is drying at all. my towels are starting to smell quite foul....anyway that was more info than you wanted. paz y abrazos from nicaland.

i lost my laundry mojo tonight because it would have required muscle-ing it all down two flights of stairs, pushing it in our cart 4 blocks, and sitting in the Laundromat at night. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Guess i'll have to handwash my underwear again.

Brie-
Who knew that laundry mojo was so difficult living in the city! I wish you had a laundry area in your building!

I don't think I would want to haul all my laundry in a cart for 4 blocks either. Remember when we lived on Ridgewood and we took our laundry to the snooty laundry place? That was hard enough and we had a car! My heart goes out to you sister!

Earlier in life apartments did not come with washer and dryers. I was working two jobs and ended up doing my laundry in the wee hours of the morning at a laudromat. Brenda casually asked me when was I getting it done. I told her and I think in over 20 yrs that's the closest I've ever seen her to coming unglued. For awhile, she did all my laundry once a week. And that is just ONE of the MANY great things she's done for me over the years. She IS fantastic.

Our washer and dryer overseas was so tiny that I could only fit the sheets from our bed in one load; Julian's and the sheets from the guest bedroom had to go in another load. no mixing of the sheets with the clothes, but I had to do twice as many loads!

Oh yes, it has surely happened to most of us at least once! It happened to me several times after you left home and I didn't have a full load of sheets only. But, now I just save a couple of same color towels to go in with the sheets to make a full load. Your washer has such a big capacity that I think you could maybe do the one or maybe both of the boys twin sheets set with yours and then you wouldn't mess up your laundry mojo. You might try it and see how many sheets would fit in your washer/dryer on any day that you might have time to think about such things with three lively, hopping, jumping, climbing, talking, crying, laughing boys under five. love you mom
