Note To Self....

Always pee BEFORE feeding the baby in the middle of the night.

It makes the feeding feel much longer and its no fun to pee and feed the baby at the same time. The danger in doing it after the feeding is that I run the risk of the baby taking longer to get to sleep. I'm not that much of a daredevil. What takes 1 minute before the feeding can take up to an additional 30 minutes if I wait until after.

So true! I almost always pee before I feed Ace. Sometimes I need to take deep breaths and relax to have a milk let down and its a lot easier to do that if I don't have to hold my pee!

Other ideas:
1)Have a stack of diapers next to the bed, NOT on the other side of the room in that nice little dresser with all of the clothes. Just change the baby on top of the bed. Who wants to get out of bed more than once???
2)Use AIO diapers at night (I have 4 of them to use for middle of the night feedings. Who's lucid enough to put diaper pins or snappis on?)

We use fuzzy bunz at night so i dont even change graham at night. when he was pooping at night still i did have the stack on my nightstand. i agree-- the less i have to get out of bed, the better!

I just wear "Depends" that way no need to EVER get out of the bed at night!

I learned to pee first, too, which is still a valuable lesson. If I get her out of her crib first, she just follows me into the bathroom yelling, "Mama pee! Mama pee!"
